Description

The KSO series chambers with the 6 and 10 kV nominal voltage and 50 Hz three-phase alternating current are designed for application in network distribution devices with an insulated neutral point or with a neutral point grounded by means of a ground-fault neutralizer. These chambers are used in distribution points and transformer substations.

Auxiliary circuits are based on an electrical-mechanical relay or microelectronic and microprocessor type protective relays according to the typical circuits of the leading design institutes.
The chamber contains all the necessary blocking systems necessary to avoid errors related to maintenance and repair works.

Operating conditions:
Nominal values of climatic factors of the ambient environment: the ‘moderate’ climatic version of the 3 category according to GOST 15150-69 and GOST 15543.1-89.
The chambers are designed for indoor operation under the following conditions:
a. ambient air temperature from -25С to +40С;
b. altitude above the sea level up to 1000m;
c. the environment is non-explosive, it doesn’t contain current-conducting dust, aggressive gases or vapors in concentrations that may lead to destruction of metals and insulation.
